YFN Lucci's Lawyer Refutes False Death Rumors, Confirms Rapper Is Alive and Well in Prison

On Wednesday, YFN Lucci became the subject of a viral social media rumor claiming the rapper had been killed in prison. However, TMZ quickly debunked the claim after speaking with Lucci's attorney, Drew Findling, who confirmed that his client is alive and well.

The false rumor appeared to gain momentum by capitalizing on the recent passing of Rich Homie Quan, a former labelmate of Lucci, and quickly spread as fans circulated the unverified story from unreliable sources.

YFN Lucci is currently serving a 10-year sentence after pleading guilty under the Street Gang and Terrorism Prevention Act. Despite this, his legal team is actively working toward his early release.

In July, the Fulton County District Attorney submitted a letter to the Georgia State Board of Pardons and Paroles supporting Lucci's early release. Findling noted that this letter significantly strengthens their case, calling it a key component of their efforts to secure his freedom.

While they are pushing for an immediate release, Lucci could potentially be freed by January 2025.
